Dr. Kathleen Pratt is a naturopathic physician specializing in women's health, digestive disorders, thyroid problems and difficult-to-treat illnesses such as chronic fatigue.

Dr. Pratt comes to naturopathic medicine from a prior career in the technology industry. She was inspired to change paths after seeing the impact of simple alternative interventions on family members who were ill. She received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in 2002, and was selected for a residency in 2003 at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, the teaching clinic of the University. Dr. Pratt continued on at Bastyr Center from 2003-2006 as a supervisor of other physicians in training. This experience in a teaching environment provided her with a strong foundation in the full range of cases and conditions that can be aided by naturopathic medicine, both in concert with conventional treatments and as a first-response intervention.

During her tenure at Bastyr, Dr. Pratt established a private practice to see patients for primary naturopathic care. She then began her training in integrative oncology, working extensively with a pioneer in the field and providing integrative care to patients at Swedish Cancer Institute, working closely with oncologists and surgeons. She then started working at Anderson Medical Specialty Associates, where Dr. Pratt trained with Dr. Paul Anderson in specialty care for chronic illnesses and IV therapies, and acted as the Medical Director for the clinic.

Dr. Pratt opened Birch Tree Naturopathic in 2016 when the opportunity arose to be an independent practitioner at Bloom Wellness. She is accepting new patients at this time and takes most insurance.
